SnackVideoDownloader ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in connection with it. Information You Provide

SnackVideoDownloader does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the Service. The only input we process is the SnackVideo URL you paste into the downloader. This URL is sent to our Cloudflare Worker solely to extract the video file — it is not stored, logged, or associated with any identifier.

Automatically Collected Information

Like most web services, our infrastructure may automatically receive standard HTTP request metadata, including:

  • Your IP address (handled by Cloudflare on our behalf)
  • Browser type and version
  • Referring page URL
  • Date and time of your request

This data is used solely for operational purposes (e.g., abuse prevention, performance monitoring). We do not build profiles, sell this data, or use it for advertising.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use a single localStorage key (theme) to remember your light/dark mode preference. No tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies are used.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide and maintain the video extraction and download service
  • Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service
  • Monitor and improve service performance and reliability

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

SnackVideoDownloader uses the following third-party services:

  • Cloudflare Workers – Used to power our video extraction backend. Cloudflare may collect request metadata as described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • Google Fonts – Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log font request metadata per their Privacy Policy.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising or behavioural tracking tools.

4. Data Retention

We do not store video files or URLs you submit. Any transient request data handled by Cloudflare infrastructure is subject to Cloudflare's own data retention policies (typically very short-lived for request logs). Your browser's localStorage data (theme preference) remains on your device until you clear your browser data.

5. Children's Privacy

SnackVideoDownloader is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • The right to access the personal data we hold about you
  • The right to request deletion of your personal data
  • The right to object to or restrict our processing of your data
